Welcome to the Oasis, a virtual reality world where anything seems possible. The creator of the Oasis, James Halliday, left behind a series of clues when he died that will lead one lucky player to the “Easter egg”, a prize that will gift his entire fortune and control of the Oasis to them. Being obsessed with 80s pop culture, many of Halliday’s clues rely on references to his favorite movies, games and TV shows.
But the evil Innovative Online Industries, or IOI, is closing in on the prize as well! With the help of some of your friends, you’ve got to solve the riddles before IOI claims the Oasis and turns your virtual utopia into a commercialized wasteland!
